How the tree was made: the faculty’s own phrases, embedded with BAAI/bge-small-en-v1.5 and grouped by Ward hierarchical clustering on Oct. 3, 2026. Ward’s fit is weak (cophenetic correlation 0.43). Phrases in groups no more alike than random pairs were moved to their nearest group. The phrase shown for each group is the one nearest its center. Branch names are ours. A lecture line, and a red underline, mean that person gave the lecture, as the lecture’s post names them; they do not mean the lecture is about that branch. Zachary Feinstein, who gave AI in Finance, is not on the People list and has no phrases, so that lecture has no line.
